Hi, I’m Kristen! I am a reader, mom, recreational gardener, and neurodivergent.
I frequently have two or three craft projects going on at the same time. I love researching and learning new things and spending time outdoors with my kids. I’m almost always listening to music (and singing along), and I go on A LOT of side quests throughout the course of my day. I also love cozy gaming (Stardew Valley is my current favorite), nature, and all things magical.
When it comes to my approach to editing, I prefer a collaborative experience. I like to be in communication with the author throughout the process, with frequent check-ins and an ongoing dialogue to explain proposed changes and brainstorm options for revisions. I’m also a firm believer in pointing out strengths and what is working well. And I’ll occasionally leave commentary when something is particularly amusing, creative, or relatable.
I live in a tiny dot of a town in West Virginia, very close to the town in which I grew up, with my husband, three children, and one cat.
